Guided nature and cultural tours

Experience exciting adventures with our well trained guides, in an environmentally friendly manner. On our hikes we´ll show you what the deep forests of northern Värmland have to offer. A part of the proceeds of our activities goes to local associations, to support their cultural work.

Beaver safari with boat

In our beautiful lakes and rivers live wild beavers. Experience interesting insights into the world of this rodent on a 2.5-hour guided boat tour and enjoy a quiet evening in our nature.

Service: Boat tour with local guide, lunch on board. Hike to the lake (about 15 min). Duration 2.5 hours (evening), 2-5 participants.

Nature walk ’Hovfjället Nature reserve’

The Mountain Hovfjället is Sweden´s southernmost high mountains area (Fjäll). Experience the fascinating fauna and flora of the reserve with our local guides.

Service: Easy to medium difficulty hike with a local guide, snack outdoors. Drive to the reserve by carpooling (about 9 km). Duration approximately 2 hours, 4-12 participants.

The rocks around Hovfjället bergmassiv är urgamla, landskapet ändras än idag av naturens mäktiga krafter. Följ med vår guide på en spännande resa genom tiden och upplev hur vårt landskap blev skapat.

Culture hike ’Ghost farmsteads in the forest’

Abandoned mountain farms waiting to be rediscovered. Migration and emigration go on down to the present day. Experience living history in the ´Finnish forest´ of Värmland and follow us to scenic historical sites.
